Clubs and Groups

It is our goal at FLEX Online School to offer clubs and groups for students. 

At this time all of our clubs are happening online using video meetings. Please contact your homeroom or Advisory teacher for information about how to join.

Leadership Club

Calling all students who want to help build the FLEX community! This club is for students who want to help plan school wide activities, socials, assemblies and other events. We are seeking students will all kinds of skills who want to join in. This club is open to all 6th - 12th grade students. 

FLEX News Network (FNN)

In this club we will be making videos of current events or interests to share with the school community. Plenty of jobs/roles that don't require being filmed are available. Bring your creative ideas, editing skills, and interest in making videos to the next club meeting. This club is open to all 6th - 12th graders.

FLEX POC 

A safe space for students of color to share ideas and cultures! Open to 7th & 8th graders.

National Honor Society (NHS)

Students with a 3.5 GPA or higher may join this club. The purpose of the National Honor Society is to elevate students’ and schools’ academics, leadership, and community engagement. This club is open to 11th - 12th graders who meet the GPA requirement. 

HOSA - Future Health Professionals

Want a future in healthcare? FLEX’s HOSA club aims to promote career opportunities in the health industry for interested students. Learn about different professions, enhance your teamwork and leadership skills and get competitive! If FLEX’s HOSA club reaches enough students to become an official chapter, members can attend conferences, competitions and conventions! 

Speech and Debate Club 

Do you want to speak up and debate on various topics? Or organize a team and lead it towards victory? Then, join the Speech and Debate Club! We select a different topic every week to research and debate on! Each team shares facts to support their side, trying to convince the judge. Who will be the winning team?

Genders and Sexualities Alliance (GSA)

GSA is a youth-driven organization whose goal is to make their school community welcoming and safe for LGBTQ+ folks and facilitate activism and education opportunities around various LGBTQ+ topics.

Don't identify as LGBTQ+ but want to learn how to support those that do? Allies are welcome! 

Theater Club

What do you like to do? Act? Sing? Film? Narrate? Build stuff? Write stuff? Direct? We can do what is exciting for YOU.  Come and see what we make and do in this new club. Let’s make new worlds and break old ideas!

High School Visual Arts Club

High School Visual Arts Club 2.0 is a club for 9-12 graders that have an appreciation for art and want to meet other students. We will share art that we've made, play games, watch cool videos, and make art together. We will learn cool, new innovative techniques in art as well. 

Come join us, make some cool friends and really build the art community here at FLEX!

Middle School Art Club

Calling all middle school students that either love and appreciate art! Mrs. Elliott is starting an art club for grades 6-8 after school every other Tuesday from 3:30-4:30. We will make art together, play games, do community projects, and get to know each other better! You do not need to be in art class to join. 

Elementary Drawing Club 

Elementary drawing is a place to have fun doing directed drawing lessons together. We will become better artists and make friends!

Crochet Club 

Come to a lunchtime Crochet Club! If you're just getting started, we'll teach you how to get started with some basic stitches & an easy pattern. If you're experienced, bring whatever project you're currently working on! Knitters and other yarn crafters welcome to stitch along (instruction will only be for crochet). Suggested supplies are a Crochet Hook size 5.5mm and a skein of Red Heart Super Saver yarn or similar.  Teachers & Staff welcome too!

Magic: The Gathering Club

Enjoy the art or game of Magic: The Gathering? Join this club to play with and against other students in the tabletop card game! Meetings will be in-person at the FLEX Office.
