Strategic Plan Goal Area 1: Safe & Thriving
Strategic Plan Outcome: Every Student Thrives Socially and Emotionally
Strategic Plan Measure: % of Students attending regularly - For 2022/23, our regular attender metric has fallen to 60.9%. This may be in part to the differences in attendance requirements during and post-COVID lockdowns.
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): By quarter three of the 2023/2024 school year, our percentage of students attending regularly will increase by 10% to 70.9%.
Strategic Plan Strategy: Implement strong multi-tiered systems of supports for students' behavioral and social-emotional needs.
- Action: Create student. staff and family affinity groups, work with affinity groups to help with outreach to potential members
- Action: Advisory lessons based on our IDEntity committee work and the SEL lessons the district provides from Character Strong, development of relationships in Advisory through these lessons
- Action: The Behavior Health and Wellness team will use data and their meetings to drive outreach and strategies to engage with students who don’t feel welcome or don’t feel they have a reason to attend

Strategic Plan Outcome: Every 9th grader is on track for graduation
Strategic Plan Measure: % of 9th graders earning 6 credits or more - For 2022/2023 this percentage dropped to 52.4%
School “SMART” Goal (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Timely): The percent of 9th graders earning 6 or more credits will increase by 10% to 62.4%.
