Beaverton Schools

Enrollment for the 2023-24 School Year

Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page to learn more about FLEX and to determine if it is a good fit for your student. We follow the Beaverton School District calendar.

Enrollment for FLEX Online School's 2023-2024 school year is now open. Please complete the application here.

Students enrolled in FLEX Online School 2022-2023 on Administrative Transfers will need to complete a new application for the 2023-2024 school year if they want to remain in FLEX. If an application is not completed before the start of the school year, their enrollment will automatically be transferred back to their boundary school.

Current School Year (2022/23)

Students New to the District

  • April 12, 2023 is the last day for students new to the district to enroll in FLEX in the 2022-2023 school year
  • Please call our office at (503) 356-3720 to discuss enrollment prior to April 12

Mid-Semester Transfer Requests

Current BSD students interested in transferring schools mid-semester need to follow the Administrative Student Transfer process. FLEX Online School is no longer accepting Administrative Transfers for the 22/23 school year.

Next Steps
You will receive a phone call from us within a couple days to confirm enrollment.

Residency Requirement
Students must reside within the Beaverton School District throughout the school year to enroll at FLEX. Travel outside the United States for more than 10 consecutive school days will result in withdrawal due to district requirements.

Student ID for Application
If your student has ever attended a BSD school, please use their student ID to complete the form.
If this is the first time enrolling your student in the BSD, you must complete an online registration with your neighborhood/boundary school to get a student ID number. Please visit the BSD Enrollment page to complete that process.

Students in Special Education
FLEX offers special education services in a Resource Room setting.  FLEX does not currently have specialized programs.  If your child is in a specialized program, FLEX may not be able to provide your student with a free appropriate public education (FAPE).  If your student is placed in a specialized program, and you enroll your student in FLEX, your student's IEP team will need to meet to determine if your student's needs can be met with a Resource Room level of support.  If your student cannot be served in a Resource Room setting, then the IEP team may determine that your student is not able to attend FLEX.
